A Randomized Phase III Study of Sublobar Resection versus Sublobar Resection plus Brachytherapy in High Risk Patients with Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC), 3 cm or Smaller (ACOSOG Z4032)

The purpose of this study is to compare the results of sublobar resection (removal of a small portion of a lung) with sublobar resection plus brachytherapy (local radiation therapy) to determine which treatments is better. You will be actively enrolled into the study for 36 months following your surgery and then followed up yearly for 2 additional years by office visits, phone or mail.
